Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) - Cheats and Secrets
• MONEY ROCK: Every day one random rock in your town gives money. Hit it with a shovel or axe in quick succession (the first rock you strike is a fake) to shake out up to 8 money bags.
• MONEY TREES: Bury 10,000 Bells in a glowing hole. The tree that grows will drop 3 bags of 10,000 Bells (30,000 total) when shaken, with a chance of extra interest on later days.
• MR. RESETTI: If you turn off the console without saving, Resetti will appear on your next visit to scold you at length. This is unavoidable; there is no official way to skip it.
• K.K. SLIDER: Every Saturday night, from 8 PM to midnight, K.K. performs at Brewster's café. Request any song and he'll give you a copy of its sheet music.
• SHAMPOODLE HAIR SALON: If you let Shampoodle style your hair repeatedly choosing the same answers (Moo/Boo), you can unlock hidden special hairstyles, including a Mii-style look.
• TOM NOOK AND MORTGAGES: After paying off each house expansion, Nook will offer the next one. Always pay before the daily rollover at midnight to avoid any issues.
• FOREIGN FRUIT: Oranges, coconuts, cherries, pears and peaches not native to your town sell for more at Nook's. Ask friends via Wi-Fi Connection or visit their towns to get and plant them.
• PLANT COCONUTS ON THE BEACH: Coconuts that wash ashore grow best in the sand, where they sprout easily and will produce more coconuts every few days.
