Overview
An action RPG in which the player embodies a Hunter who, after being transfused with the mysterious blood local to the city of Yharnam, sets off into a "night of the Hunt", an extended night in which Hunters may phase in and out of dream and reality in order to thin the outbreak of abominable beasts that plague the land and, for the more resilient and insightful Hunters, uncover the answers to the Hunt's many mysteries.

• Bloodborne has no official cheat codes, but these tips will help you survive Yharnam.
• For an easier start pick the 'Violent Past' origin; 'Waste of Skin' is only for challenge seekers.
• With 10 or more Insight you can see hidden enemies and world elements, like the Amygdala on Cathedral Ward walls.
• Farm Blood Echoes safely early on by repeatedly killing enemies near the Central Yharnam lamp before pushing forward.
• Level Endurance only moderately: its benefits diminish past a threshold; prioritize Vitality, Strength or Skill instead.
• Always open side gates and lower ladders first; nearly every area is interconnected through shortcuts.
