Overview
“Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon” is packed with the retro charm that made the legendary 2D action games of the 80s so enjoyable.
Take control of one of four characters that can be interchanged at any time during gameplay: The sword-swinging exorcist Zangetsu, the whip-wielding heroine Miriam, the magic using alchemist Alfred, and Gebel, who can turn into a bat and take to the skies.
Finally, you can experience multiple endings depending on how you interact with the characters you meet.
This project is the 8-bit style game promised as a stretch goal of the 2015 Kickstarter campaign for "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night." Backers of the Kickstarter campaign are encouraged to check the Kickstarter page for updates.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon (2018) - Cheats and Secrets
• Konami Code: on the title screen, enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A to unlock Nightmare mode and Ultimate Zangetsu without beating the game first.
• Nightmare mode: also unlocked normally by completing the game once. It is a harder version with a different story and gameplay tweaks.
• Casual and Veteran modes: when starting a game you can choose Casual (less punishment on death) or Veteran (classic style). Achievements/trophies require Veteran mode.
• Party members: in each stage you can recruit or kill characters (Zangetsu, Gebel, etc.). Your choices change the ending and which characters join you in the final stage, so save before deciding.
• Extra lives: some stages hide voodoo doll heads that drop extra lives when hit repeatedly; check high areas using the double jump or charged attack.
• Pro tip: Zangetsu's charged attack breaks blocks and acts as a shield against many projectiles; use it in the final castle's thorn and wall sections.
• Pro tip: master the double jump and Gebel's bat transformation to cross gaps and spike zones that seem unreachable.
