• Clash of Clans has no cheat codes or console commands: it's an online game, and gems can only be obtained legitimately by playing or purchasing them.
• Earn free gems by completing in-game achievements and removing obstacles (trees, rocks, bushes) that appear in your village; some give gems when cleared.
• Place your Gold and Elixir Storages in the center of your base, protected by walls and defenses, to minimize losses during raids.
• Use the Villager Shield early on: your base is protected while you're offline, so plan attacks when you're ready to play.
