Fable III (PC / Xbox 360) – Cheats and Tips
Fable III has no traditional cheat codes, but these well-documented tricks and secrets are known:
• Money trick: buy properties early (houses in Bowerstone) and rent accumulates even while the game sits paused in the Sanctuary. Return every few minutes to collect huge sums.
• Xbox 360 fast money: press the Xbox button to go to the dashboard while playing, then return; your rent is paid instantly upon loading.
• Free money early on: make friends quickly using expressions and receive gifts from NPCs, which can be sold.
• Demon Doors: there are 6 scattered across Albion; each requires a different condition (kissing someone in front of one, bringing a child, having 100% morality, etc.) and hides unique treasures.
• Rare Books: collect all 25 books hidden around the world to unlock rewards at Brightwall.
• Gnomes: destroy all 50 gnomes hidden across Albion to finish the gnome quest and earn rewards.
• Morality tips: donating to the kingdom treasury or benevolent choices raise morality; stealing and murder lower it. The Hero's appearance changes accordingly.
• Before the final invasion, amass 6,500,000 gold in the royal treasury to save every citizen of Albion; invest in property from the start to manage it.
