Fallout Shelter (2015) - Tips and Tricks
• Fallout Shelter has no official cheat codes, but there are well-known ways to progress faster.
• On PC, the save file (Vault1.sav) can be edited with external tools to gain caps, lunchboxes and dwellers; always back up your save first.
• Assign dwellers with high stats to matching rooms: Strength (S) for power generators, Perception (P) for water treatment, Agility (A) for the diner.
• Send high-Charisma (C) dwellers to the living quarters to speed up breeding.
• Send dwellers into the wasteland with stimpacks and RadAways to passively collect caps and items.
• Random incidents (radroaches, raiders) trigger more often if you tap the screen constantly; pace your actions to reduce them.
• Use rushing sparingly: accident risk increases with each consecutive rush.
• Merge rooms of the same type (3 horizontally) to build upgraded rooms with higher production and capacity.
