In 1992, the second game in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem Gaiden, launched exclusively in Japan. Now, for the first time, fans outside of Japan will get a taste of this classic game on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is inspired by the 1992 original, reimagined on a grander scale. Every aspect of the Fire Emblem Gaiden game's presentation has been updated, along with the game being fully voiced. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - Tips and Tricks
This game has no official cheat codes, but these well-documented tips will help you:
• Use dungeons to your advantage: you can explore them freely, avoid battles, and grab items without spending turns.
• Actuation points (glowing spots) in dungeons give free items and experience; always check them before leaving a map.
• Mila's Turnwheel lets you rewind turns: use it freely, it's unlimited outside of important battles.
• Hidden villages on the map contain key items like the Gold and Zofia's Lance; circle them with units to reveal them.
• At Mila's Shrine you can forge items: Gold and Silver Fragments boost your units' stats.
• Shrines at the end of chapters fully restore health; use them before tough battles.
• Genny and magic units can attack water-bound enemies from a distance, very useful on coastal maps.
• Grima and other extra content are available as separate DLC if you want additional challenges.
