• Manny can die easily near ledges, flames, or dangerous mechanisms, so save often at the game's save points.
• When Manny comments out loud on something, it usually means an object or area is important; pay attention to his automatic dialogue.
• Press the commentary button (a speech bubble icon in Remastered) to hear extra hints from Manny about the current screen.
• In Year 1, use the drilling pump you find on the street office to land your first client, Meche, by following the trail she leaves.
• Be sure to pick up the slide projector and the screwdrivers in Glottis' garage; they are essential for escaping the Petrified Forest.
• If you get stuck in the Rubacava desert or on the walking ship (The Prey), check your inventory and try each item on the environment; the game never allows dead-end states.
• The developer commentary mode (enabled in the options menu) reveals design secrets without fully spoiling the puzzles.
