Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (GBA) - Tips & Secrets
• Unlock Meta Knight Mode: beat the game once to replay the entire story as Meta Knight, who is faster and wields a sword.
• Beat the game as Meta Knight to unlock Meta Knightmare, a time-attack replay mode.
• Quick Draw minigame: press A exactly on cue to draw your sword and win stars, which count as extra lives.
• Easy extra lives: in stage 1-1, destroy the star blocks near the beginning to reveal a hidden 1UP; replay the stage as often as you like.
• Save before bosses: save panels are placed right before each boss fight, so use them to avoid losing progress.
• Grab Copy abilities before slopes and pits: enemies near hazards often carry useful abilities; inhale them before moving on so you don't lose them if you fall.
