Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES) - Documented secrets and tips
• There are no known official cheat codes for this game, but these tips will help you reach 100% completion.
• To face the true final boss, you must complete levels by rescuing Heart Stars: help the NPCs in each level (like riding the Ferris wheel or playing minigames) to earn their hearts.
• The animal friends (Nago, Pitch, and ChuChu) have special combos with each copy ability; for example, ChuChu with Stone performs a powerful dive attack.
• Gooey sometimes appears sticking his tongue out from below; touch him and he'll join you as a helper that adds a second attack.
• In the beach level with Nago, there are submerged areas with hidden stars; explore every corner because many Heart Stars are tucked away in barely visible spots.
• Minigames: completing the three skill games (in bonus rooms) can earn you extra lives and, occasionally, Heart Stars.
• Pro tip: use Nago when you need long jumps and ChuChu to cling to surfaces; picking the right animal friend for each level makes collecting all hearts much easier.
• The Love-Love Rod is obtained after defeating the true boss and is key to the game's good ending.
