Kirby Star Allies (Switch) - Tips and Secrets
• There are no official cheat codes; here are real tips and secrets instead.
• Friend ability: throw a heart (Up + X or ZL/ZR depending on setup) at enemies to befriend them; up to three allies can join you.
• Mix abilities: combine your power with an ally's (e.g., Sword + Fire = Fire Sword) to create stronger elemental abilities.
• Inherited friends: throw a heart at an enemy that already has a copied ability and it will join you keeping that ability.
• Invincible allies trick: press an ally's L to have them toss you free items like hearts or stars.
• Unlock Dream Friends (Ribbon, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Marx, etc.) by progressing through the story and completing Guest Star mode and Dream Friend directories.
• Find hidden puzzle pieces (big hearts) in each level using specific abilities to complete the Dream Friend directories.
• Pro tip: Kirby can float indefinitely by repeatedly puffing in mid-air; release the float right before landing to maintain height on tricky platforming sections.
