Mafia II (2010) - Cheats and Tips
Mafia II has no official cheat codes, but here are well-documented tricks and tips:
• Quick money: steal cars and sell them at Bruski's scrapyard in Empire Arms; luxury cars pay more but must be in good condition.
• Easy extra cash: during the chapter where you work for Derek, you can resell the cars he requests by keeping up with his collection pace.
• Lose the heat: if the police are chasing you, go home and sleep or change clothes to clear your wanted level.
• Wanted Posters: collect all 159 posters around the city to unlock classic vehicles in your home garage.
• Playboy magazines: find all 50 magazines to unlock them in the extras menu; each chapter has specific locations.
• Free clothes: when taken to a clothing store to change outfits, you can grab items without paying if the shopkeeper doesn't see you.
• Fuel and damage: cars take realistic damage; avoid jumps and hard collisions because the engine can fail or catch fire.
• Strategic saving: save often at apartments and bars, since dying can cost you a lot of progress and money.
