Overview

Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes is the fifth Marvel Comics-licensed fighting game by Capcom and the third game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. In contrast to X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, the game features characters from numerous Capcom franchises such as Mega Man and Strider, rather than just Street Fighter characters. The game takes place within the Marvel comic continuity, as Professor Charles Xavier calls out for heroes to stop him before he merges with the consciousness of Magneto and becomes the being known as Onslaught, the final boss.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes - Cheats and secrets
• Secret characters: Venom, Shadow Lady, Roll, Gold War Machine, Orange Hulk and Mephisto are activated on the select screen using documented button combinations (hold certain buttons while confirming your character).
• Helper combos: call your crossover partner strategically; use attacks that give them safe openings to hit the opponent.
• Hyper Combo system: build the Hyper meter to chain both characters' Hyper Combos together (crossover combo) for much higher damage.
• Progress unlockables: in the console versions, some secrets and extra modes are unlocked by finishing Arcade mode with different characters.
• Anti-projectile trick: grabs and attacks with startup invincibility are the best answer to opponents who spam long-range projectiles.
• Air combo: jump and chain attacks with up-direction to keep the opponent airborne, then finish with a Hyper Combo.
• Difficulty settings: in home versions, you can adjust difficulty and round count in the options menu before playing Arcade mode.
