NieR: Automata - Game of the Yorha Edition (PS4, PC): secrets and tips
• This game has no traditional cheat codes, but it does have several well-known secrets.
• Letting 2B self-destruct (hold L+R and press movement and attack inputs) removes part of her outfit as a cosmetic detail and unlocks a trophy.
• After finishing the game once, the Very Hard difficulty mode is unlocked, and chapter select becomes available after completing the main routes (A, B, C and E).
• Golden machine cores and rare golden robots grant large amounts of XP and money: hunt machines in the Amusement Park area with EXP-up and item-drop-up chips equipped.
• Talk to points of interest and save often: the plug-in chip system lets you power up a lot by combining crit-up and damage-reduction chips.
• You can reach the branching endings (A through E) by saving at key moments of the final decisions: never delete your save file when finished, since trophies and upgrades carry over.
• In the Colosseum arena (DLC included in this edition) you can farm chips and money from the sub-level challenges, ideal for preparing for level 99.
• Hidden secrets and chests are easier to find with the Pod's scanning chip equipped; use it in areas like the City Ruins and the abandoned factory.
