Overview
Night In The Woods is an adventure game heavily focused on story, characters and exploration, with some platforming to get around town. Mae's a cat so the roofs and ledges and powerlines are all her playground, and she's not the only one up there by a long shot. You'll also be doing various activities and interacting with the world in different ways, getting to know the townspeople, hanging out with friends, exploring Possum Springs inside and out, and venturing into the surrounding areas.

Night in the Woods (2017) - Secrets and Tips
Night in the Woods has no traditional cheat codes, but these are well-documented real secrets and tips:
• Finish the main story once to access the extra 'Weird Autumn' chapters included in that edition, featuring new scenes and activities.
• Practice playing bass in Mae's garage: the music minigames are repeatable and story-neutral, great for passing time.
• Each day has limited time: prioritize activities with key characters (Gregg, Bea) so you don't miss important conversations.
• Play the 'Demontower' arcade cabinet at the mall: it's a full roguelike, and completing it unlocks bonus content.
• Talk to all the townspeople each day: much of the dialogue changes depending on the day of the week and adds story context.
• Some band practices and minor collectibles are only available on specific days; check the town schedule before moving on.
• On PC, quitting and relaunching the game after certain story points can trigger special dream events.
• Stick with either Bea or Gregg during night hangouts: some outings follow different narrative paths.
