Overview
Nuclear Throne is an action roguelike-like by Vlambeer about mutants fighting their way through a post-apocalyptic world. The radioactive waste in the world allows mutants to get ahead by mutating new limbs on the fly, the abundant availability of powerful weaponry make the quest to become ruler of the Wasteland one fraught with peril.

Nuclear Throne has no official cheat codes, but these real tips and unlockables will help you survive:
• Character unlocks: complete a run with Fish at the Scrapyards area to unlock Melting by dying with him; get 10 rads in a single run to unlock Robot.
• Unlock Chicken: die in the Scrapyards with any character's run reaching it; unlock Rogue by finding the Plasma Cannon in 2-1? No — reach the Palace with the crown.
• Y.V's Mansion secret: rarely, a secret portal in the Sewers leads to Yung Venuz's mansion, where you can grab a special shotgun.
• Blood Crowns: reach later areas like the Palace to start finding Crowns; each grants a unique effect but is lost on death.
• Pro tip: mutations like Boiling Veins (protection at low HP) or Rabbit Punch greatly boost survival — build around your weapon type.
• Pro tip: yellow cave enemies drop rads when killed; collect rads quickly, as they disappear after a while.
