Overview

P.T. (Playable Teaser) is a first-person interactive teaser directed by Hideo Kojima and developed by Kojima Productions under the alias of "7780s Studios". It is a psychological survival horror that combined simplicity with an anxiety-inducing environment. The player must investigate the gruesome backstory surrounding the house, and solve puzzles to get to the end game where a cut scene will initiate, and reveal the official teaser trailer for Silent Hills. P.T is widely accepted as a game in its own right, as not only is it considered deeply engaging, but also enjoys significant replay value thanks to its cryptic nature. Due to the cancellation on Silent Hills, it is no longer available for download.

P.T. (2014) - Secrets and Tips
P.T. has no official cheat codes, but these real secrets and tips will help you survive and reach the ending:

• To progress through the loop, walk down the hallway until you hear the baby crying, then check the ajar door at the end.
• The famous Lisa ghost scene: when she catches you, keep your gaze fixed on the floor and walk slowly toward the final door to avoid being killed.
• The phone whisper trick: in the second loop, wait for the phone call and bring it to your ear. A whisper can be heard that hints at how to unlock the true ending.
• For the true ending, perform the three actions hinted by the whisper: wait for and listen to the phone call, unlock the door whispering 'Doll' (hold the PS4 microphone close and say the word), and walk ten steps in darkness with the flashlight off until the light comes on.
• The flashlight does not repel Lisa: if she looks at you head-on, stop moving or die; staring at her too long makes her appear faster.
• You can use the DualShock 4's built-in microphone (or the PS4 camera/earbud mic) to trigger the 'Doll' whisper; a controller without a mic requires the PS4's.
• Fun fact: data miners revealed the ending depended on hidden triggers; there is no official way to skip the loop other than following these steps.
• P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Store in 2015, so only players who downloaded it to their library can still play it.
