Overview
"Two puzzle game juggernauts collide as Tetris, one of the largest-selling and recognized brands in gaming history, and Puyo Puyo from SEGA have combined to create a fun-to-play, fast-paced, competitive party game like no other! The game has tons of different styles of gameplay – from the single-player Adventure and Challenge modes to the ferocious competition of the up-to-four player Arcade modes. There's plenty of Tetris/Puyo variety, even an in-game Shop where players can unlock new characters, new skins for Puyos and Tetriminos, new backgrounds and more."

Puyo Puyo Tetris (2014) - Tips and unlockables
• This game has no official cheat codes, but here are real secrets and gameplay tips.
• Characters: new characters are unlocked in Adventure Mode by progressing through story acts, completing chapters and missions.
• Finishing Adventure Mode unlocks extra content and options in other modes, so completing it is the best way to get everything.
• Tetris tip: hold an I-piece in reserve to clear four lines at once (a Tetris) and send a big garbage barrage to your opponent.
• Puyo tip: build chains by popping color groups (four or more Puyo of the same color connected) to send increasingly powerful attacks.
• Swap Mode: you switch between Puyo and Tetris on a timer; train both systems separately since this mode is common in online matches.
• Against players using short, fast chains, answer with a longer, later chain to absorb their attack and counter in one go.
• Practice in Marathon and Endless modes before going online: mastering T-Spins (rotating the T into tight spots) makes a real difference in ranked play.
