Overview
You control a family of characters one at a time, and when your character dies, you choose who his or her successor is, whether it is a barbarian son of yours who has OCD, your daughter who became a ninja even though she can't see well, an assassin who is fighting for the gays, or a miner who wants to collect gold! Traits are randomized each time upon death, leading to multiple playthroughs with 35 traits, each character will be unique.

Rogue Legacy (2013) - Secrets, Unlockables and Pro Tips
• Rogue Legacy has no official cheat codes or console commands, so here are documented secrets, unlockables and tips instead.
• Unlock new classes via the Hero Hall upgrades: Knight, Mage and Barbarian come early; Lich, Miner, Spelunker, Assassin, Ronin and other advanced classes require further Hero Hall upgrades.
• The Dragon class cannot heal from health orbs: it only recovers HP by killing enemies, so use it only if you master aggressive combat.
• Look for fairy chests: their challenges grant permanent stat boosts, but many are hidden until you light torches or meet special conditions.
• Manor passwords are hidden in the castle libraries: reading them opens extra corridors and chests with unique equipment.
• When you die, spend your banked gold on the next heir: investing early in Health, Strength and Magic massively speeds up progress.
• The final boss and true ending are unlocked by defeating all 4 zone bosses (Castle, Forest, Tower and Crypt); the final boss has a harder second phase.
• Pro tip: traits like 'Vegan' (cannot eat healing food) are a fun veteran challenge, but avoid them in your first runs.
