Overview
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up game based on the Scott Pilgrim series. Play as the cast, who must battle through seven levels in order to defeat Ramona's seven evil exes. Characters have their own individual movesets, which can be expanded upon by gaining enough experience, and are also able to use weapons. The game has up to 4 person local multiplayer

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game Cheats and Secrets (PS3, Xbox 360)
• Secret shop: in the first level, after the opening staircase, keep walking off the left edge of the screen through an invisible wall to find a hidden shop stocked with powerful items like the Memory Chip.
• Character unlocks: finish the story with the starting characters to unlock Ramona Flowers and other playable characters; every defeated boss joins your roster.
• Money trick: in local multiplayer, connect multiple controllers and pool the money earned across your characters to afford expensive gear much earlier.
• Effective combos: chain quick attacks and finish with a strong attack to launch enemies; cancel into your dodge (roll) to avoid counters and keep combos alive.
• Fast leveling: replay the early sections of level 1 in long sessions, as enemies respawn and give constant experience with very little risk.
• Official cheat menu: the game includes redeemable codes in the pause menu options; enter the documented codes to unlock extras such as additional visual effects.
• Cook your items: buy food and gear from shops; food heals mid-battle and is the most reliable way to survive boss fights.
