Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Tips and Secrets
• This remaster includes no official cheat codes, but there are well-known secrets that can make your playthrough easier.
• Surviving Matador (Ginza-cho boss): level up, build demons with Hades Flight, and use buffs/debuffs; his Andalucia can wipe you out if you can't take physical hits.
• Dante/Raidou: on the Amala route, you can recruit Raidou Kuzunoha instead of Dante with the relevant DLC or edition.
• Press Turns: hitting a weakness or scoring a crit preserves turns; missing or being blocked costs extra turns. Master this system first.
• Magatama: find hidden magatama across the Vortex World to gain stats and skills on level up; some are only obtainable by exploring specific areas on particular lunar phases.
• Maniax content: complete the Kalpa door challenge to unlock additional Maniax content.
• Save often in multiple slots: a bad demon negotiation or a defeat can cost you hours of progress.
• Demon negotiation: give them items, money, or magatama depending on their personality; a satisfied demon joins for free and shares valuable info.
