Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Cheats and console commands
• PC: open swkotor.ini in the game folder, find the [Game Options] section and add the line EnableCheats=1. Save, and in-game press the ~ or console key to open the cheat console (no cursor appears, but typing works).
• Known console codes: heal (full healing), invulnerability (god mode), setstrength 20, setdexterity 20, setintelligence 20 (set attributes), addlightside 1 and adddarkside 1 (shift your alignment).
• Useful travel commands: warp followed by a module code (e.g. warp 001EBO) teleports you to specific game areas; module codes are documented by the community.
• gavecredits 5000 adds credits; giveitem followed by an item code grants specific equipment.
• Money tip: buy and resell certain items (like swoop upgrade parts) between merchants on Dantooine and Manaan to exploit price differences for profit.
• Tip: talk to your whole Ebon Hawk crew after each major quest; conversations with Carth, Bastila and others unlock affinity bonuses and personal side quests that affect the ending.
• Tip: for a Dark Side build, pump Strength and Charisma — Charisma boosts your Force power effectiveness.
• Mobile and Switch versions have no cheat console, so only the gameplay tips and unlockables apply there.
