Overview
A side scrolling 2D platformer and first entry in the Super Mario franchise, Super Mario Bros. follows Italian plumber Mario as he treks across many levels of platforming challenges featuring hostile enemies to rescue Princess Peach from the evil king Bowser.

Warp zones and infinite lives (NES)
• Warp zone 1-2: jump onto the ceiling near the end and use the pipes to reach worlds 2, 3 or 4. In 4-2 you warp to world 8.
• Infinite 1-UPs (world 3-1): wait for the turtle coming down the final staircase and keep stomping the shell without letting it touch the ground — every consecutive bounce is a 1-UP (up to 128).
• Continue after game over: hold A and press Start on the menu.
