Super Meat Boy (2010) - Tips, secrets and unlockables
• Super Meat Boy has no official cheat codes, but its single-player mode hides many secrets and unlockables, which we explain here.
• Alternate characters are unlocked by finding bandages scattered across levels; each character has a unique ability (for example, Allen the alien lets Meat Boy teleport).
• Hidden warp zones can be unlocked by finding secret passages in walls, marked with cracks or suspicious spots; explore the chapters thoroughly.
• Later chapters and expert levels unlock by completing earlier chapters and achieving ratings in the levels; don't skip the bosses.
• Key tip: master wall-jumping and chained jumps; holding the jump button gives higher jumps and better air control.
• If a level frustrates you, enable slow motion in the PC options to practice movements precisely before trying it at normal speed.
