Tetris 99 (Nintendo Switch) - Tips and Tricks
• Tetris 99 has no cheat codes; these are real, documented strategies and unlock conditions.
• Target opponents with the right stick: K.O. (damaged players), Badges (badge holders), or Random.
• Knocking out rivals earns badges that boost the garbage lines you send: stack badges to dominate the endgame.
• Combine Tetrises (4 lines) with T-Spin setups to send the maximum garbage to opponents.
• Switch targeting to 'Badges' mid-match to attack leaders and steal part of their badges when you knock them out.
• Unlock Tetris 99 Invictus (local versus and private online) by winning matches; additional modes like Marathon later arrived via the Nintendo Switch Online expansion pack.
• Keep your stack flat and leave one column open for the I piece; speed becomes extreme in the Top 10 phase.
• Final blows also count as K.O.s, so finish off already damaged rivals to grow quickly.
