Overview
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is the second Zelda game for the Nintendo DS. The art direction is still cel-shading, but the game have notable changes from Phantom Hourglass with more puzzles and a new mode of transportation by train. You have to draw your route to the next area on the map and then let the train run its course. While the train is moving, caution will be needed to avoid obstacles, animals and enemies on the tracks. In certain dungeons, both Link and Zelda will be playable as they will need to work together to solve puzzles.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks cheats, secrets and tips (DS)
• Cyclone Slate: after clearing the Snow Temple you get the Cyclone Slate. Draw the symbol matching a sanctuary on it and the whirlwind will instantly warp you to that area of the map.
• Rabbit hunting: at Rabbitland Rescue you can catch regular and golden rabbits for rupees; the more you catch, the bigger the rewards the keeper gives you.
• Force Gems: golden Force Gems appear along the tracks while riding the train. Shoot them with the cannon to collect them; gathering enough gems upgrades your train with stronger cannons and other improvements.
• Extra Heart Containers: besides the ones from temple bosses, additional Heart Containers are hidden around the world, so revisit areas once you gain new abilities to reach them.
• Better train combat: use the cannon while reversing to hit aerial enemies; the train can partially dodge attacks if you speed up at just the right moment.
• Use Link's expressions: in some temples you must copy a character's expression with the microphone to solve puzzles; if it fails, get closer and speak clearly.
• Travel safely: map enemies disappear if you travel while the golden gem symbol shows up, so plan long routes then to avoid encounters.
• Spirit Flute duets: in duet songs, follow your partner's rhythm and don't play too fast; let their notes finish before playing yours.
