The Messenger (2018) - Tips and Secrets
The Messenger has no official cheat codes, but these tips and secrets will help you on your adventure:
• Hidden medallions: every level hides medallions inside vases and secret areas. Collect them all to unlock the game's true ending.
• Time Shards: gather Time Shards to buy items at the Shopkeeper's store in Forlorn Temple, including upgrades that extend your wingsuit flight and mobility.
• Wingsuit upgrades: after purchasing certain upgrades, you'll gain better wall-cling and gliding control, essential for late-game areas.
• The resurrection lamp: if you run out of lives, the shop's lamp can revive you where you died, provided you have enough shards. Use it before tough boss fights.
• Past and future: switching eras changes each level. Many secrets are only reachable in one era, so revisit every area in both the past and the future.
• Post-game content: after finishing the game, extra challenges and the Picnic Panic downloadable content put your wall-climbing skills to the test.
• Checkpoints: use the quimeras (checkpoints) often; death doesn't set you back far, but some secrets require surviving deadly trap gauntlets.
