Overview
Woody has been stolen from the bedroom, ready to be sold to the highest bidder by an evil toy collector. It's up to good friend Buzz Lightyear to fight his way through from the bedroom to the outside world in order to save Woody from the toy market and bring him home. All of the character from the 3D animated movie appear through-out the side scroller to help Buzz get to where he is needed. Along with the use of his cannon, Buzz can jump to hard to reach places, also useful in collecting the hidden coins that open bonus levels.

Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999) - Cheats and Secrets
• Cheat options: on console versions, finding hidden collectibles (such as Al's lamp in certain levels) unlocks cheat options in the main menu, including infinite lives and level select. Enable them from the 'Cheats' section in the options menu.
• Collect all Pizza Planet tokens in each level to unlock boss battles and progress through the story.
• Easy tokens in the Neighborhood: jump onto Andy's roof from the trampoline and use the hookshot to reach hidden tokens.
• In Al's Space Land, use the double jump from stacked boxes to reach high areas with extra tokens.
• In the Museum level, use the hookshot to hang from beams and avoid enemies while collecting tokens.
• If you gather all Pizza Planet tokens in the game (excluding boss levels), you unlock the final battle against Zurg.
• Tip: the double jump upgrade (Jetpack Boots) is found in the Airport level; get it early to reach previously inaccessible areas.
• Tip: press the attack button in mid-air to perform a spin attack that safely breaks boxes and defeats enemies.
